Also on a side note Gears of War 2 is awesome! The game is so much better then the first one. The only crappy thing they did was make the shotgun all shitty. The only way to kill someone now is to melee them with the gun (which stuns them), then shoot them point blank (when I say point blank, I mean sticking the gun in their chest). It is almost worthless now. But even that did not take away the fact that the game is great, plus they gave you a flamethrower to make up for it
Also I should say that I am interested in drawing anime, so if you have any tips that would make drawing that easier, please feel free to comment.
Thank you for all the comments so far. But I would like to say that I am looking for techniques for drawing. So try telling me how you draw.
I finally got my first sketches in. So thank you everyone that has given me tips and encouraged me to draw. But if you still have any tips or pointers please let me know, because I am still far from good.

The only way to learn how to draw is to start drawing.
Books help, art classes help, but nothing beats just grabbing a pencil and some paper.
Best way to start would be to take something that interests you, and draw it.
You like GoW2? You could look for some Gears of War concept art, and try sketching that.
...Eh.. some good advice i got from someone was:
Don't be afraid to make mistakes, mistakes are good, you learn from em.
If a drawing looks bad, find out why it looks bad and do something about it.
There, i hope that helps.

Honestly though there's only so much tutorials can teach you, they're good to start with but they really only teach you to think in 2d and to get really good at art you have to teach yourself to think in 3d.
Maybe you're better at realism than anime, or abstraction than landscapes or you can be better at anime than all of the above.
In truth, with enough practice the easier it gets
It also helps to look at free tutorials or joining an art club in school
I hope that helped ^_^
Also thanks for the advice. I will try to put it to use soon.

Classes are a great way to learn, they have the perk of being anle to try out differnt mediums, and being around other artistes can be real informative.
but just like the trick of getting a boomarang to come back to you is you have to through it,learning to draw means haveing to do it,stylist to paper, pen to parchment or, brush to board. We all learn by doing.
So just go for it! Have fun!

YEAH TOAST!!!
The best is to start with realistic stuff. It doesn't have to be very detailed or well shaded, it's enough if you get the hang of poses, perspective and so on.
Keep drawing, drawing, drawing. Draw everything in your way, may it be your cup of morning coffee, your neighbour's dog, your favorite videogame character, a spider on your wall, the pattern of one of your shirts ... Everything.
The next step would add studying tutorials and such, but always remember to draw. Draw draw draw.
